4-field Techniques AP/PA is a simple pair of parallel-opposed beams with gantry angles of 0 and 180 degrees (assuming the patient is supine). A standard 4-field arrangement is a set-up of 4 equally spaced beams (AP, PA, right lateral, left lateral) with gantry angles of 0, 90, 180, and 270.
