In order to make the plan more homogeneous, one should add the following wedges:

a) AP – wedge thick end to the patient’s left; PA – wedge thick end to the patient’s right
b) AP – wedge thick end to the patient’s right; left lateral – wedge thick end to the anterior
c) AP – wedge thick end to the patient’s left; PA – wedge thick end to the patient’s left
d) PA – wedge thick end to the patient’s left; left lateral – wedge thick end to the posterior
e) left lateral – wedge thick end to the anterior only
