IMRT Treatment Planning
Back at the Optimizer; click the “OPT” button for a dropdown menu. This will ask you how many iterations you want to perform. Each iteration is a complex mathematical process attempting to bring you closer to your goal. Over optimization can be a common problem and can have negative effect on your final plan. Start slow and get a feel for the optimizer. To start, we will run 5 iterations.
