IMRT Treatment Planning
Finally, we will check the V5 and V20 of the Lungs. The V5 refers to the volume of the lung receiving 5Gy (or 500 cGy); The V20 refers to the volume of the lung receiving 20Gy (or 2000 cGy). In the information tab (“i”) next to Lungs, click on the “Volume for a Given Dose” tab and enter 500 cGy. This will give you the V5. After that, enter 2000 cGy which will give you the V20.
