IMRT Treatment Planning

Just as we did with the Spinal Cord, we can click on the “I” (or Information) tab next to each Kidney Volume and enter .1 in the “Dose for a Given Volume” tab. This will give us or Max Dose Point. The Left Kidney and the Right Kidney are both under 1800 cGy.

Plan Directives;    Dose: 50 GY (2Gy X 25fx)

                                    95% of PTV Receives 100% of Rx

                                    Nothing receives > 110% of Rx dose (if possible)

                                    Spinal Cord: .1cc < 25GY

                                    Rt Kidney: Max Point Dose < 18 Gy

                                    Lt Kidney: Max Point Dose < 18 Gy

                                    Lungs:          V5 < 50%
                                                         V20 < 15%
